Bob CrissmanOUAT Soundtrack Analysis/Reviewer

Bob Crissman’s love of music began all the way back in Middle School when he informed his Jazz Ensemble instructor that he was going to be a music teacher as a profession. Little did he know he was foretelling the future. Bob’s love for music continued through High School as members of the nationally awarded Webster High School Marching Band and the Webster High School Show Choir. After High School, Bob joined the Cadets of Bergen County for one summer, just before attending Roberts Wesleyan College. He graduated Roberts Wesleyan with a Bachelors of Science in Music Education. After two years of searching for jobs, Bob finally found a music education job in Terry, Montana where he led an award winning Concert Band and Pep Band along with a Concert Choir, Marching Band, Elementary Classes and was the Department Chair for the music department for three years. After a job search, Bob found a job back in New York State at the Binghamton City School District for the last ten years.

Bob has taught;
the award-winning Binghamton Marching Patriots,
classroom music (which is music theory and history for middle school students), and
helps to run the sound and light boards as the technical director for productions at East Middle School.

Bob not only has a history in music, but in podcasting as well. Bob started podcasting in 2005 as he hosted his own podcast known as “The Jedi Council Speaks”. He did several interviews on other shows and podcast dramas. In 2009, Bob left his previous podcast behind in order to pursue new adventures with the GalaxyCast Podcast, part of the 2 Guys Talking Network. If you don’t find Bob podcasting or listening to music, he’s usually very busy with his own family or is behind a Mandalorian or Tie Fighter Pilot helmet as part of the Star Wars costuming community.

  1. Dear Jeff and Colleen,

    Hi my name is Jennifer, I am from northeren California and I wanted to start by saying that I really enjoy your show. It’s so nice to hear what other people think about Once Upon A Time…I make my husband watch it with me but none of my friends are involved. :( This last episode was intresting and I can’t wait to hear what you thought. I do have some questions; is R.S. the creator of the curse? I thought that he was because he knew how to activate it and break it. I feel confused by it. He seems to want the curse to be broken (because he gave Henery to Regina bringing Emma into Storybrook) But why? His life seems pretty sweet in this parallel universe. The only thing I could think of was that he is going to make himself look like the hero so when they do return (assuming they do) he is free. What are your thoughts? Again, thanks for doing such a great job.
    Jennifer

  2. Dear Jeff and Colleen , Hi my name is Liz. I am a big fan of your show. You guys did an outstanding job. I really like how you did the charaters. As you probably know by now my favorite charater is Emma. I like how she is tough and is not afraid to take on a good challenge. I was telling my mom how I hope the show stays on for a long time. I also maybe hope to see some books in the future ? Thank you for creating the show. May God bless you both and keep it up.

  4. I just finished listening to your podcast about the changes you all are making. People can be so rude to others. My heart goes out to Colleen. I don’t think they understand what it feels like to others once they press “send.” I adore your podcast & they get me through my work in the office. Which by the way is at home along with 3 goldens & my spouse! I adore the background stories and look forward to them. I feel more in touch with you both. I can’t imagine doing a podcast from my home, we have enough craziness gong on here – things happen on a daily basis barking, people and a bit of dog hair. Everyone has learned to adjust and get over it. I am right behind you in understanding why things had to change but remember some of us really like your podcast. I’ll take whatever you all end up doing and just want to send Colleen a big hug & smile from VA (I’m sure some dog hair traveled along with this). I don’t do much social media, so that is why you don’t really hear from me, but I’m listening & subscribing.
