OUATFPC Meetup 9/15 – 9/16 We need to get a head count

Hi everyone, even though the date for the meetup is a ways off, we need to get an idea of who is coming, how many in the party, ages of children, etc. We would like to know if there are any considerations that we need to figure in, like; Wheelchairs, etc. We aren’t trying to by nosy, we want to try and play events to make it fun for everyone.

Example:

Name:
How many in your party:
Ages of little ones (if any):
Any considerations you require (Wheelchairs, etc):

Note: Obviously, we want the list of those who will be for sure attending, but we understand that real life plans change, but this will be the head count list we will use. If plans change for your party, please leave a comment here letting us know.

This is our first meetup, and we are so looking forward to spending time with those who can attend.

Note: We are testing some ways to possibly do a live show from the park to add in those who are available online, but cannot attend. No promises, but we are looking into it.

So, with that let’s begin our attendee list:

OUAT – OUAT Stars dish about their hopes for Season 2

ABC’s hit show Once Upon a Time has been renewed for a second season of fairy-tale fun, and no one is more excited than the cast. We caught up with some of the stars of the show at ABC’s Upfronts party in New York City and chatted about who they’d be excited to see on the show, and what upcoming ABC shows they’re adding to their DVRs.

Buzz: Which characters from the fairy-tale world would you like to see introduced?

Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White / Mary Margaret): Oh, I’d love to meet Ariel, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty — her job might be a little boring though.

Josh Dallas: I would love to see Jack and the Beanstalk. I would love to see Ariel, The Little Mermaid, there are so many!

Lana Parilla (The Queen / Regina): There have been rumors about a mermaid appearance so I’m sad that I won’t be playing it. Every little girl’s dream is to play a mermaid. I had all my cousins convinced I was a mermaid when I was little, I was a better swimmer and they couldn’t go as far as I could out in the ocean.

OUAT-August/Pinocchio : What was his fate?

Emma had to just believe, if she believed in time to break the curse it would have prevented August from turning back into wood.

Emma was too late.

August known as ‘Pinocchio’ turned back into wood.

What is fate? Does bringing back magic to Storybrooke help him turn back into a real man?

OUAT – Dolly Zoom Camera Effect

Dolly Zoom is a camera effect that allows the camera to pan away from the subject without changing its size or appearance. Most often, Dolly Zoom is found in horror or suspense movies to give the scene a very dramatic effect.

This effect was used in movies like Jaws -

It was also used in Alfred Hitchcock’s movie Vertigo (Notice it when Jimmy Stewart looks down the stairs)

And in this very dramatic finale of Once Upon A Time, the Dolly Zoom was also used in a scene involving Emma and the curse.

Cool huh?
